Morning practice on Saturday
might not begin until noon
but that's ok - there are no rules, just play.
I love bringing out the collections
of things gathered and gifted over many years.
These are my morning practice tools.
I make a list of hopeful intentions,
snap a polaroid and a kind of narrative emerges.
Of course this narrative is an intuitive surprise,
when I begin I have no plan, no map... just a curious desire
to lovingly arrange pebbles, circles and such...
but a message sneaks out...
and there it is
another morning practice
a kind of haiku
