Here, as elsewhere
it has been hot and dry.
A summer cold
has slowed me down.
My Mother's powder blue hydrangeas
white linen and diaphanous organza
are the palette of the week.
Gathered white stones,Cancun coral,
pale blue beach glass
and irridecense
dance together...
little blue Buddha seeks shade.
And then the rains came
glorious powerful cooling rains,
ahhhhhhhhh...
my summer cold and I danced.
Sending out cool powder blue breezes
and shell pink sunsets...
