I've been making little citrus bowls
to contain my numerous and growing collections
reading left to right:
- a hickory nut husk found on a walk
with a perfectly fitting white pebble
(found within minutes of each other)
snug as a bug
bound up like a tiny papoose...
- one of the aforementioned lemon bowls
barely 2" in diameter
cupping pink tourmaline
gifted to me by my amazing Dad...
- and one of today's wrapped stones
tumeric dyed chiffon, a scrap of rusted muslin
and a rusty circle topped with a bead...
all sunshine cosy
atop red stitched eucalyptus dyed wool...
summery days predicted this weekend
maybe a bonfire,
