Ohhh these are really getting to me this morning. Love the colors and now if I could just figure out how you did the leaves.
Posted by: Sharon | April 06, 2008 at 08:58 AM
Sharon - the leaves are orange leaves from AZ - when we were there I used them as masks for my journal pages and them mono printed them on this watercolor paper - which I brought back and continued working with - you can use natural objects (leaves, sticks, etc.,) as masks and then have extra paper at the ready to soak up the paint...
xox - eb.

your birds are radiant
and so are you

Your Birds remind me of a couple of old songs I used to listen to. The Blackbird song is long forgotten, just can't recall the name or the tune. But I DO remember,"When the Red, Red Robin comes hop, hopping along" ~~~~~ta- da-- de-dah and etc! Such a happy song about spring arriving soon~~~~~~! Do you remember a song about a black bird? HELP! XOX, Mom

Oh, very nice. Love how you used multiple stencils for a collage. What I love most about stencils is being able to make something cool looking without free-handing anything (which I suck at!).

Oh very cool - love the dots at the bottom of the top image with that stuff!! I can never remember what it is called - sequin waste maybe? Whatever it is, it looks great with your new stencils.
