THE BLOGLANDIA BALL... let's dance together... under a full moon...

Let us begin the festivities with an INVOCATION...

and an acknowledgment that this full moon is associated with the chrysanthemum and the harvest.  And oh what a harvest! - of flowers, friendship, refreshments and fun...

                                                                  
and now - what to wear?  As the days grow shorter and the light more golden - it is still warm for late September here in the northeast.

As dusk approaches the pink swishes dress seems appropriate - with pink sky wishes, swishing, wishing three wishes:
1 - that you will find enchantment, 2 - that you will share your creativity and joy, and 3 - that new friendships will blossom as old ones deepen...
now - I might also want a golden star-studded wrap as the evening cools. 

After Leslie's luscious canapes you might like a slice of homemade apple pie with Ben and Jerry's vanilla ice cream and perhaps a glass of sweet raspberry wine from the Charlotte Village Winery - or if you prefer - a glass of Jillybean's punch (it might be spiked with her special magic...) 

On the way to the perfect ballroom let's gather

some flowers and party favors while we sip our beverages...

and I'll slip into my vintage pearl and crystals... it is time for sparkling jewels to reflect and sprinkle the LIGHT of the moon - oh! what a deLIGHTful evening.  Have you stepped out into the night to witness and commune with the full moon - go! - now!  Look as the lacy clouds crochet a little coverlet over the moon as she shyly peeps out from behind.  I'm SO happy that you could join us here to celebrate, dance and commune together here at the Bloglandia Cyber Palace.  And as we swish and swirl our skirts the sky is turning a deep indigo and the starry night twinkles like diamonds on velvet.

And now - I think I'll change into my starry night gown to sing and dance with the heavens - oh look - I can see the big and little dippers and Draco and is that Cassiopeia?  Look look! - do you see them?... SO many stars - and you can follow them to other enchanted locations - just click on the name of a star and you'll be deLIGHTed to give and receive the LIGHT... just follow the stars - and have a lovely evening - sharing, dancing, and appreciating all the love and creativity that Bloglandia wants to share with you...

What impressive dainties you are serving! The apple pie and the Harvest Cider really look elegant on the lovely antique china dish and with the beautiful silver fork! What a beautiful setting!
