Is this your purse?...
I found this little red purse while wandering along the beach after the Bloglandia Ball... it was quiet and the moon was glowing sweetly as it was sliding into its bed - after a full night of celebratory reveling with many many many very creative and spirited women. I looked inside the purse hoping to find identification - but instead what I found was this: JOY, CREATIVE ABANDON, DELIRIOUS DANCING, SOULFUL FOOD AND DRINK, FLOWERS OF THE MOST EXOTIC VARIETY, SHARING, and COMMUNITY - oh and a small peach colored tiny tiny mini-purse of FAIRY DUST. Can anyone help me find its owner? - please respond ASAP - you know how panicked you can get if your purse is missing...
xox - eb.
* Miss Maddie and Carole have clues... *

OH....that is dear....I wonder, who, possibly could have dropped it. Yes, perhaps Lea with her tiny shoes and leaf strown (sp?) dress...oh, I just met Ninnie and Banna!!!
The next generation of bloglandia dancers....

What a precious little purse, and it's filled with all the right stuff. Perhaps the owner left it as a gift. Of course, we know you don't need any help in any of those departments.
What a spectacular night! We've been talking about it around here all day. J enjoyed his cigars with Scoundrel and Rogue, and he especially liked getting the credit for the canapes before I squashed his good time.
Hugs and kisses!

To EB and Stephanie and all who attended....I wish I had gotten there in time....I even had a photo of the rising moon to share---but no time to upload it...
Later you may see it...in some form or another!
Looks like you all had a great time! And especially EB who was so excited by it all--it was so nice to see the happiness flowing so freely. We need more of that.
I guarantee I will make an appearance at the next one! soon! :)

Good Morning Eb, The Fairy Violette tells me she had such a wonderful time at the ball. She returned at dawn exhausted from so much dancing, so tired in fact that she slept for a solid 24 hours. But now she is up and about picking flowers for everyone, Fairy Violette would like to express her thanks by presenting you with a great big, beautiful, Fairy bouquet of flowers.

Dear eb, I must thank you for being such a wonderful hostess.I am still quite dizzy from all the dancing. Even though I arrived late I was overwhelmed by all the gaiety and celebration.I shall look for the moon again tonight and remember all the fun.Perhaps we may meet to celebrate the Winter Solstice when the cold wind encircles us and the dancing will warm our hearts! Oh dear...I wasn't able to attend the Ball and felt very sad about that..I was to busy scrubbing hearths and washing dishes and catching up on overdue piles of laundry, no, not for evil step sisters, but for my lovely daughters...but I can tell you this...if you can,t find the owner of that precious little purse, I could sure use some JOY and CREATIVE ABANDON in my life at this time. It's very lovely and so much fun reading your blog. Hugs, Deb

Oh eb:
It is me Josie; I must tell you I looked everywhere for my missing bag; I asked Jack & Leslie to search too but she said Jack was sooo busy smoking stogies with Scoundrel & Rogue and you know how it is when the guys share stories. I had hope Constance might have spied it amongst her glorious bags, but no she was busy sending out flowers and Thank You cards to everyone one!!! Marita was sailing off home and had to catch the high tide. Donna was knocked out in the carriage resting in the middle of me asking her about a tiny crown design : ( I think she danced so much she was not ready to think about my desires : )
Miss Maddie came gliding in late in her ethereal gown so I could not bother her (plus she had that scamp bring her glasses of champagne and I could not interrupt : ) such bubbly fun.
Now, I hope there is not a matching bag that is mine as I would never claim another's. Ninnie if it is yours I will continue my quest.
oxo

I lost a slipper, and the Prince hasn't brought it back yet (he's probably looking for me, trying it on all the female feet of the land...).
Isn't that Ninnie's purse???

Oh, that's just the cutest thing. Alas, I wasn't able to find the time to participate in the ball directly (although I have read some wonderful accounts of it all over Bloglandia), but I've been to gatherings of women which filled me with all those wonderful things you found in the purse. We should remember to "refill" our purses often. Thank you.
